Finding out you are pregnant is the best news of all. Well, of course only second to hearing the grand proposal. After a successful wedding ceremony, hearing that your love has borne fruit is the icing on the cake.
For a first time mother-to-be it can be a very difficult job to search for the right stuff for the new baby. One of the ways to keep things on schedule is to make a list of all the necessary items the new born will need, and then getting them one by one, well before the new baby’s arrival.
But there’s another easy way to have it all, without much difficulty. The solution is to hold a baby shower party! The only headache mom-to-be would have is the menu she would have to prepare on that day and that is easier for her. She can even add up the spice by giving out unique baby shower invitations to the invitees.
Organizing a baby shower party ensures you of getting out of the burden of searching for useful baby stuff, now this part has to be managed by the invitees. But now another question arises. How to plan for the baby shower? How to organize the baby shower? The best answer there is, is to have a theme that would guide the flow of the baby shower. You can plan a unique baby shower theme. Do you want it to be based on color? If you already know the gender of the baby, why not base the theme accordingly and set your theme based on Pink for a baby girl and Blue for a baby boy. Or another idea can be to base your theme on a character, such as the Looney Tunes, Power Puff Girls or Dexter's Laboratory.
Write a note of the gifts you received. It is quite possible that you still miss out some important baby stuff from the list, just make sure to get it before the arrival of the new baby.
Things to remember for a baby shower party:
Hold the baby shower party at least 4 to 6 weeks before the due date, try to find a unique theme, make your guest list, plan for the budget, games and menu well in time and lastly but very important point the venue itself, plan it before hand.
Remember, the baby shower party is a way to welcome the new baby, so have fun in doing so.
