Crib Bedding Sets Match Better and Are Cheaper

The selection of baby bedding is truly vast, with everything from girl's crib bedding baby bedding sets for boys to neutral bedding. If you are not sure what you want for bedding, you may be tempted to pick out separates, but you should consider how much it's going to cost you. Crib bedding sets are for crib bedding what a bed in a bag is for an adult's bedding. Bedding sets are the perfect way to ensure that all your bedding will match each other, and the nursery. You will need more than one crib sheet, but you can usually find matching crib sheets sold as separates.

To be sure you get what you want, try to have some idea of the colors and fabrics you want before you start your search. Silk might be a first choice, but keep in mind that it's going to be a lot more expensive and harder to clean than cotton or flannel. Whether you just like changing things around frequently, or you're redecorating the nursery for a new baby, bedding sets make it easy because you can change the look of the nursery considerably by just switching bedding sets.

It should go without saying, but make sure your bedding suits the gender of your baby. Of course you wouldn't want pink in a boy's room, but for some reason blue in a girl's room is fine. You are not likely to have any problems whatsoever, though, because manufacturers keep themselves well informed of market trends. In a boy's nursery, you'll often find themes like football crib bedding. Bright colors are more often a feature of boys' bedding than of girls'.Ponies, princesses, and paisley are common in a girl's nursery. Soft colors and pastels are more common for a feminine nursery. For a gender neutral nursery, consider abstract prints in neutral colors, animals, or stars and moons.

If you really can't find what you're looking for, you always have the option of custom bedding. Nothing exudes love like a handmade gift, so if you can sew, you might want to create the crib set yourself. To minimize the time you spend searching for the right crib set, choose a budget and a theme before you get started and stick to them.
